In Paris, where to watch the game ?
Looking closely, the subject I probably know best isn’t wine, gastronomy, literature, or even sustainable development — it’s football.
I’ve been watching matches since childhood. I check sports news sites several times a day, every day, and I even enjoy the guilty pleasure of transfer gossip. I love football, this brilliant, theatrical, universal invention, and I love watching it in a bar, surrounded by friends and strangers, trading "oh!"s, "ah!"s, and moments where you put your head in your hands. Tonight is the first leg of the Champions League semi-finals: Paris Saint-Germain (the city's great club) is playing Arsenal (one of London’s big names). A good excuse, maybe, to head to a bar and catch the game.
